The hotel has a very good location and the rooms are nice, but they are directly across from the elevator and quite small. The temperature control issue meant we had to leave the window open sometimes, making it a bit creepy during breakfast. However, being conveniently located compensates for some inconveniences.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel that provided me with all the bathroom amenities I wanted. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable, plus the fabulous shower was a great perk. The room was also well heated at just the right temperature for a cold winter stay in Lucerne. The only downside was the lack of proper A/C check after check out.

The staff was incredibly helpful, offering tips on the city and restaurants. The availability of room service, car hire, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, welcome drink, tours/ticket assistance, and happy hour added a lot of convenience to my stay.

The hotel's location is one of its best points, being fantastically close - just a 5-10 minute walk - to the train station, the river, and the old town. It's super central and near the main train station. Just be aware that it can get hot sometimes in Lucerne.

However, the breakfast experience wasn't the best as there was a lackluster selection, watery coffee, and poor lighting in the restaurant. There did seem to be an option to 'pay extra' for breakfast, which left something to be desired. Welsh pastries were a highlight though.
